We're going to sample the delights of KPop JPop and an EPop track this time in the Music Box, but what do the abbreviations mean?

Ménage à Trois
We go into the deep, dark world of apocalyptic folk music and snuff movies with Ménage à Trois from Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio in the Music Box.
We’re not quite sure what Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio actually means, other than it’s NOT a person, it’s the name of the band, and that the first two words mean ‘please Rosa’.
The nearest we can get, is a Latin phrase “Order of the Rose and the Balance” and the band is fronted by Tomas Petterson, and Rosa is his girlfriend’s name (hence the Rosarius bit).
These were joined by Fredrik Leijström and Ronnie Bäck on bass and guitar.
ORE are exponents of the Swedish Apocalyptic Pop music genre, who cite Alistair Crowley, William Blake and Depeche Mode as their influences, and in earlier years used to incorporate sadomasochism live on stage.
And so onto our chosen video.
This video is live on YouTube at the moment, but as you will see from it’s explicit nudity and snuff content, we’ve chosen to air it from Vimeo, as all too often YouTube decide to delete videos, even official ones.
Reminding us a little of Nick Cave in Pennywise face paint, with a darkly merry tune playing as people get shot and held down, whilst gasping for breath before dying, see what you think to this darkly inspirational video from Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio – Ménage à Trois.
Ménage à Trois was taken from the album ‘Let’s Play (Two Girls and a Goat)‘, and the lyrics for this track can be found in the ‘credits’ link below.
We hope you enjoyed our latest offering from the Midlands Maidens Music Box, and we’ll see you next time!
